111The Venetian islands and their distinctive light served as inspiration for the Shade of Venice dividers, which are made from a gorgeously bright weaving of nautical strands. Four versions were created: Murano, Burano, Giudecca, and Sant'Erasmo. These were inspired by the white stone of Giudecca and the hues of the vegetables that grow in the garden patches of Sant'Erasmo in Venice. While the vibrant tones and contrasts of the Burano design mirror the island's vibrant orange and blue homes, the light blue and green hues of Murano are reflected in the divider's weave. By experimenting with positive and negative space, the design creates a sneak peek effect that gently reveals the surrounds. Both indoors and outdoors, the Shade of Venice dividers offer a great deal of flexibility and endless decorating options.
